Well its been a summer of hard work for Steve & Martin as The Peas completed a series of singles, the first of which will be released in October. Its a great set with Martin cooking up a care-free ditty and reminding us to keep smiling and Steve tell us how the girls in his life sometimes think everything revolves around them! Rave reviews from the muso community in Soho, the boys can't wait to play them to you... but the men is suits say they have to! But only for a little while...
Exclusively, we can confirm that the first single to be released is pretty controversial and focuses attention on the Arab Spring. It is about the inspirational way that the people are rising up and winning for freedom and love, but it also focuses on the terrible cost they are paying - particularly in Syria - at the hands of brutal regimes. The boys have high hopes for the song and with your support hopefully it will make a mark and show everyone that ordinary people over here feel for their cause and likewise value the fight for peace and love.

The Peas dragged themselves away from chocolate eggs and Easter nests this weekend to record two new singles at The Way Studio in London Fields. Although a little hot and sticky given the great weather, the guys are buzzed about the new songs. They're back later this week to add the finishing touches before starting work on a 3 month project in London's famous Berwick St. Studios. If you've been following our twitter @thepeasband you'll have seen some cheeky pictures from the weekend just gone. Unfortunately these songs have to be kept in the can for a while yet but they should be out in the world in a big way later in the year!
